Account Manager

Our Chesterfield based client are a globally recognised market leader in the design andmanufacture of electrical and electronic wiring solutions for various markets andsectors. Due to the continuous growth and development of one of their main contracts a positionhas arisen for a self-motivated and pro-active account manager to join a busy, existinginternal sales function.The role will involve the account management for several depots of their large client,ensuring that orders are seen through from initial contact / order through to beingdelivered on site to chasing payment.Duties will include: -* Customer Account Management for a large national Plc.* Building on existing relationships ensuring a comprehensive understanding of theirrequirements are understood* Developing new relationships ensure a comprehensive understanding of theirrequirements are understood* Administration support, including accurately entering information to spreadsheets and inhouse systems* Working to all budgets and targets agreed by the Sales Manager* Processing orders* Chasing Payments* Communication with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met* Liaising with our purchasing and operations teams to ensure support and efficiency The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:* A proven track record of excellent customer service.* A proven track record of achieving set KPI's and standards.* Excellent communication skills.* Excellent IT skills.* Good problem solving ability.* Self-starter and self-motivated.This position is a full time role and is between GBP17,500 - GBP20,000 per annum with a bonus scheme
