Our client is keen to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their team in Swindon
Responsibilities
,Control and expedite the supply chain for all non-inventory (revenue) items from purchase requisition to purchase order receipt. Ensure that they are delivered on time and in full and that their receipt is promptly communicated to the originator of the purchase requisition.
,Receive and accurately control purchase order acknowledgements from suppliers. Identify, query and communicate exceptions to delivery date and unit costs specified on the corresponding purchase order.
,Develop your knowledge, understanding and experience of purchase order processing and the supply chain by expediting purchase orders and schedules on behalf of the Purchased Materials Controller in periods of high demand.
,Release works orders to meet the requirements of the production schedule. Print and check that works order documentation and labels correspond with the controlled drawings and specifications contained in the product specification pack and, if necessary, update these prior to coordinating the distribution of production packs to the appropriate production line.
,Undertake general administrative tasks including, but not limited to; the review and maintenance of inventory, validations of works order closure procedures, inter-site stock transfers, and general filing.
,Develop your knowledge, understanding and experience of the Works Order Management Process and manufacturing processes by planning and expediting works orders and materials on behalf of the Production Controller in periods of high demand.
