Leisure Club Sales Co-ordinator - The Park Royal
Where you'll be working
Hello from the team at the Park Royal! Our hotel is based just south of Warrington in Stretton, near to neighbouring villages of Stockton Heath and Lymm. We have a lovely warm cosy feel to our hotel, with our 180 strong team ready to make every stay, visit, membership, dinner, beauty treatment, etc, a very enjoyable and memorable one!
We can offer 146 bedrooms, "Topiary in the Park" our stylist restaurant, our relaxed lounge bar for a Costa Coffee or a pint of local real ale. We have 15 conference and meeting rooms catering for the discerning business customer, corporate away days, breakfast meetings and annual conferences. These rooms then can transform themselves (with a little help from our creative maintenance team) to create magical scenes for charity balls, annual dinner dances, hosting wedding party's, comedy nights and much more! Our luxurious leisure club offers customers and our 2,200 members a wonderful array of fitness equipment, a dance studio, 22m swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room, tennis courts and if following this you still need to unwind we have 67 beauty treatments on offer to relax you further!
As a team we like to share in our successes as a whole, we all rely upon each other to deliver the best in our own areas of expertise! Lots of our team members have worked at the hotel for years and years, so we all really know each other well and like to think of our fellow colleagues as extended family members! We are Gold for Venue Verdict and Gold for GTBS, so we always like to aim high and aim to please!
What you'll be doing
As part of our Leisure & Spa team, the Leisure Club Sales Co-ordinator is there to be pro-active in developing revenue for the leisure club through identifying and winning new members.
With the support of our Leisure Sales Advisor, you'll maintain member relationships and confidently cultivate new ones alongside arranging sales appointments and delivering market strategy through a variety of media.
Within QHotels we like to focus on our individual customers and their needs so as Leisure Club Sale Co-ordinator you will support our calendar for events for the club to get to know our members. Gaining and acting on member feedback in a genuine and committed way is key to ensuring our members feel valued and cared about.
As Leisure Club Sales Co-ordinator you'll make and attend sales appointments personally, following up on all sales leads and dealing with the administration. Additionally you will also be involved in some external sales activities locally to promote Club Membership.
In this position you'll thrive on pressure and just can't wait to convert that next sale!
What you'll need
To have agreat personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
To enjoy the buzz of being busy
To be smart and well presented
Excellent communication skills including spoken and written English.
To be totally sales driven, with sound selling and negotiation skills.
Significant previous experience in a similar sales position
Good numeracy and literacy
Previous operational knowledge and experience of IT systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
