Senior Management opening in South Wales for a Top 10 Main Contractor.....
A successful regional building contractor with offices across the Midlands and South are looking to procure an Operational Manager for their thriving South Wales business. Working across the retail, commercial, education & health sectors, projects typically will range in value from GBP10m - GBP30m. They have an extremely healthy pipeline of work for 2017 & 2018 already secured, so there is plenty of opportunity to progress within.
The Operational Manager position will have the main responsibility for 2 - 3 live projects projects across the region, along with additional new contracts that will be happening over the coming months. There will also be an element of Business Development attached to this position so someone who has had exposure to that, would be desirable.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Operational Manager, preferable for a Top 10 Main Contractor
- Degree Qualified Preferred (Construction Related)
- Experience in managing large value projects from GBP10m +
This role would suit an individual looking to associate themselves with an already well established main contractor but also who appreciates the autonomy and challenge of being in a stand alone position
