My client is a governing body that is seeking a Security Support Assistant. The post holder will work closely with security officials, the police and other key stakeholders to ensure Members are supported in their security needs. This is a contract role for 3 months, 36 hours per week. CTC Clearance ideal.
The Security Support Assistant' duties include providing contract support to Members and their staff to access appropriate security measures and advice.
The role will require a motivated and organised individual, with excellent team and organisational skills. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable working with a wide range of colleagues at all levels, committed to providing an excellent level of customer service and able to work independently and take responsibility for regular tasks.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Proving support and guidance to Members and their staff on accessing appropriate security measures and personal security advice.
- Supporting the Members' Security Support Service members in staffing the Member's drop in centre in PCH to provide Members with general security advice and signposting them to the correct team should further advice or support be required.
Support the team in the delivery of the Security Measures for officials by:
- Processing the security specifications produced by the security contractor ensuring all required paperwork is complete and financial information is accurate
- Ensuring records relating to the Security Measures for each Member are accurate, up to date and easily accessible
- Providing data that contributes to monthly reporting on progress
- Quality assuring invoices before being authorised for payment
- Liaising with the security contractor to answer queries and resolve issues.
- Any other duties as required commensurate with the pay band.
CTC clearance is preferred.
