CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT

Based in Talke, Stoke on Trent

National Veterinary Services Limited (NVSL) is the UK's leading veterinary wholesaler providing a next day delivery service through our nationwide network of distribution depots. We supply pet products, veterinary consumables, pharmaceuticals and IT solutions for veterinary practices. We also operate a number of commercial laboratories across the UK offering clinical and diagnostic veterinary services.

An opportunity exists for a Customer Services Assistant to join our operations team at Talke who will deliver excellent levels of service to both internal and external customers and provide support and assistance to the Reception and Customer Service areas. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Office communications including answering telephone calls, greeting visitors and postal services;
  • Assisting the Operations Team with data collection and analysis
  • Processing Customer orders for third party logistics
  • Assisting with the production of reports and monthly invoices
  • Provision of cover for the Operations administration team members

The successful applicant will have previously worked in an office Administration position and will be a practical and level headed self-starter with a high degree of common sense, attention to detail and numeracy. A confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate at all levels is a must.

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can demonstrate their ability to organise and prioritise work.

A high level of computer literacy is required for this position including: Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
