Full Time Science Teacher

Salary: £23,000 pa (40 hours a week, 40 weeks a year)

Start date: 4th September 2017 (with flexibility for an earlier start if candidate available)

Based in Cambridge, with some flexibility to work from home after successful completion of probationary period

Red Balloon of the Air is an award-winning charity that operates a leading-edge virtual learner centre. We offer academic, wellbeing and community support to transform the lives of students (aged 9-18 years) who want to learn but have had low rates of attendance at school due to high anxiety, severe bullying, trauma or chronic stress.

Our programme comprises online and face-to- face support to build confidence and reconnect students with learning and their education. Students are typically referred to us by their school, mental health services or local authority.

We seek an experienced Science Teacher, with QTS, to work with KS3 and KS4 students on-line, either 1:1 or small groups.
