Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire, now has an exciting opportunity available for a Head Pastry Chef to join our Kitchen Brigade. Head Pastry Chef

Overview: The Head Pastry Chef will be in charge of the production and service of all Pastry items for several outlets within the hotel including Banqueting, Wernher fine dining restaurant, Brasserie restaurant, Room Service and Lounge.
The role will also include stock control, rotas and ordering. We are looking for a talented Chef to maintain the high standards and further develop and lead the team.
Attributes/Experience:
Relevant experience in 4-5 Star kitchens.
NVQ level 1&2 or similar. Level 3 beneficial.
Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
Good leadership skills and a team player.
Large volume banqueting experience ideal.
A well rounded knowledge of pastry essential
Good communicator and teacher
Attention to detail
Computer awareness essential.
