Who we are looking for
PwC is investing in the further expansion of its UK Operations Centre based in Belfast. The Operations Centre provides a range of services to clients, helping them ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements through the provision of redress and remediation support and a range of other 'managed' services.
This is an important strategic investment for the firm and we are looking for a Solutions Architect to help transform our workplace processes and drive innovative and collaborative change with clients and internally through advanced use of technology.
About the role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect who will be an integral member of the senior team; leading, developing and enabling growth plans for this part of our business.
As the Solutions Architect, you will focus on:
Utilising technology to enhance client service propositions that are market and regulatory relevant and also develop solutions to client problems through smarter use of technology;Creating highly efficient processes for managing volumes of client data, while adhering to regulatory and confidentiality requirements;Developing regulatory compliant procedures for securely managing data of multiple clients;Creating project management and performance management dashboards that can be shared with clients, facilitating real time collaboration and decision making;Researching latest technology trends and leading the successful procurement of relevant applications and software;Contributing to the development of sales opportunities, including efforts to win new business;Recruiting, managing and mentoring resources of the operations technology team in line with PwC's personnel policies and procedures and supporting their development;Responsible for senior level client liaison and building internal and external relationships and networks;Applying your knowledge of technology developments and key issues affecting clients and our projects so as to anticipate and understand the impact of such developments on clients and therefore market opportunities.
The role will be based in Belfast; however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may be required to work in other locations within the UK and beyond, sometimes at short notice and sometimes over lengthy periods of time.
