Renewals Negotiator

The Renewals Negotiator position is pivotal in contributing to maximising existing business for our Client whilst continuing to encourage repeat and loyal business. The Renewals Negotiator drives and negotiates ongoing contracts within the business property portfolio whilst adding value to the landlord's experience. The Renewals Negotiator provides excellent customer service and takes responsibility for leading negotiations in a proactive and positive way to maximise revenue for the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Liaise closely with front offices to gain knowledge of the changing markets which will be used as a negotiation tool with landlords.
• Effectively build and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords to encourage repeat business.
• Directly negotiate the contract renewal between tenant and landlord and mediate the discussion to add value to both parties and justify our fees.
• Work closely with landlords to maximise their yield and provide a high-quality service in terms of length of tenancy and amount of rent secured.
• Maintain up to date notes of negotiations on the internal system to ensure that other teams are informed of deal progress.
• Coordinate with accounts department to confirm any changes in rent.
• Confirm any changes in rent to the client through letters and emails and ensure a quick turnaround.
• Draw up accurate memoranda to outline and secure the new terms that have been agreed.
• Send out memoranda to both parties as soon as agreement is reached in order to secure the deal, and chase outstanding paperwork until the deal is signed and completed.

Salary: GBP18,000 plus commission (GBP45,000 OTE)
Monday - Friday (09:00 - 18:00)
