Architect
Our client are an award winning architectural practice based in Brighton, are looking to recruit a talented architect with 3-5 years post qualification experience to join their focused and driven design team immediately, on a full time permanent basis. This architectural practice covers a broad range of sectors with a particular focus on residential, refurbishment, conservation and mixed use projects.
You will gain instant exposure to some exciting projects from day one and working with all senior staff, this includes the practices associates, directors & project team. This is the perfect opportunity to establish you within the industry and work alongside some creative individuals
The role:
* Assisting in pre-commission submissions
* Producing planning, building regs, working drawing and tender packages
* The responsibility for applying for permissions relating to each project
* 3 years + post qualification experience, Good drawing skills and ideally a proven track record of delivery.
* Candidates must hold a degree in Architecture
* Fully conversant with Building Regulations.
* Able to understand and explain complex issues over the phone or via email.
* Confident working autonomously with excellent communication skills (including liaison with clients and design teams and technical report writing), but also as part of the close knit design team
* Strong portfolio showing individual design development
Person Specification:
* Accreditation ARB/RIBA
* Experience of working on different sector projects
* Revit proficient
* Very high standards of accuracy and presentation
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Co-operative team member.
* Able to work proactively on own initiative and prioritise workload
