Super Camps is the UK's number 1 provider of school holiday childcare and activity camps, operating at over 80 venues nationwide. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the wider operational team, the Divisional Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Super Camps products through remote management and ensuring that the activity camps meet the high standards expected of the market leaders in the childcare industry.

Duties of the role include:

Managing and supporting a team of Regional Managers. Planning their logistics and location so that all Camps in the Division get adequate support whilst Camps are in operation.
Manage product delivery at allocated venues to ensure first class delivery for children and parents whilst maintaining and building strong relationships with host venues.
To work closely with the Training Manager to assist in the delivery Camp Staff training
Each season, preparing and delivering/ collecting equipment to and from camps, using a company van.
By following set templates, ensure the venue specific timetables are completed and on a weekly basis during the season.
To act as the Line Manager of the allocated Camp Managers and Regional Managers throughout the season. Effective communication and management is key to ensure the smooth running of camp.
During the camp season, responsible for ensuring each allocated camp has the correct paperwork on a weekly basis.
Understand and implement Ofsted and safeguarding requirements on camp, which includes writing a camp specific Self-Evaluation Form for each allocated camp.
Ensure that all Policies and Procedures are being followed by conducting regular Quality Management Audits of camp.
Out of season, under the direction of the Operations Manager, take the lead in other operational responsibilities specific to your experience and skill set.

Requirements: It is essential the successful candidate :

Has a full driving licence and use of a reliable vehicle.
Quick learner and a dynamic approach to work as this role will start during our peak season.
Enthusiastic, flexible and well presented, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
PC literate with good knowledge of MS office.
Has high standards and is focused on service and quality with immaculate attention to detail.
Has previous management experience within a childcare/teaching/outdoor education environment.

It is desirable that the successful candidate:

Has experience delivering activity camps or related services
Has experience related to Remote Management
Has experience in driving long wheel based vans.

Hours: Standard hours 9am - 5pm during the off season. (flexibility required when out travelling to and from camps)

Attendance required at weekend training days in the run up to camps, and daily travel to camps expected during each season, supported by Regional Manager and Operations Team.

Driving kit to and from camps each season, scheduled by the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager.
