Operations Manager - High WycombeUp to GBP29k Basic We have a hugely exciting opportunity for an operations manager to take on the full day to day responsibility for health and safety and operational compliance for a market leading leisure facility in Buckinghamshire. We are keen to talk to candidates who have a very strong background and qualifications in health and safety and hands on operational management from working within a large multipurpose health and fitness or family entertainment centre, either as an operations manager/ health and safety manager or as a centre manager or GM who is looking to focus purely on operations. Responsibilities include: * Managing a full team of lifeguards, including rota management and ongoing training. * Responsible for putting in place Health and Safety Policy & Procedures, Best Practice, Risk Assessment and Method Statements. * Accountable and responsible for the quality systems and accreditations within the park * The first point of contact for the HSE and ensuring legislative compliance * Responsible for the induction, ongoing training and maintaining records for all staff with regards to first aid training and DBS records * Responsible for the day to day management of the building and the trampolines * Prepared to be hands on in the and to day running of the operation, covering DM shifts when required * Responsible for managing the in house maintenance technician and manging all the suppliers * Working alongside the GM and a large team of heads of departments to ensure operational excellence This is an exciting role as you will be taking over the operations of a superb leisure facility, You must have an eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills and be passionate about health and safety and ideally have a NEBOSH qualification and or be a first aid /trainer assessor. The role is hands on and given the nature of the business you will be expected to work on a shift basis including working a minimum of 1 weekend in 2. The position offers a highly competitive basic salary up to GBP30k, dependent on experience with the genuine opportunity to earn up to 20% of the basic salary in performance related bonuses.
