Thales teams deliver cutting-edge solutions to armed forces the world over. We are Europe's number one supplier of defence electronics and a leading provider of integrated air defence systems. But our people don't just work with incredibly advanced technology. The armoured vehicles we build can resist the full force of improvised explosive devices, while our avionics solutions control some of the world's most iconic military aircraft. Together, our people make the world safer. The Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Department plans and directs the identification and development of logistics support and system requirements for military systems, with the goal of creating systems that last longer and require less support, thereby reducing costs and increasing return on investments. ILS addresses these aspects of supportability not only during acquisition, but also throughout the operational life cycle of the system. The impact of ILS is often measured in terms of metrics such as reliability, availability, maintainability and testability (RAMT). Our ILS department is involved in the concept and deployment of innovative support solution, to provide the best operational performance to Thales's UK and international Customers.
