Design Technician

One of our dynamic growing companies based in Doncaster are looking for a Design Technician. Reporting to the Managing Director. With an immediate start available

Responsible for:

Main contractor background

You would be designing all aspects of the project given with regular Team Meetings

Identify suitable products and specifications

Liaise with the Project Team in preparing of projects, costings and designs

Ensure consultants prepare detailed design in accordance with the ER's and CP's

Manage and review new design developments

Manage and coordinate external consultants and information to enable deliverance and the running of new sites to a successful design and financial solution

To achieve timely design solutions and to coordinate and transfer this information onto working drawings

Implementation of all Company Strategies, Policies and Procedures

To have a strategic overview of company operations

To liaise with external Architechtural consultants on preparation/updating coordinating product development. Planning layouts, Planning applications, Building Regulations and specifications

Effectively communicate with the Managing Director, Projects Managers and clients to ensure future success

Main contractor background an advantage working alongside engineers, architects, engineers, compliance, CAD

With an ambition to grow into Design Manager

BENEFITS:

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP42,000
