- Raising Work's Orders
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Making recommendations to improve production routings
- Assessing most economical purchasing requirements e.g. Bar v billet
- Organising quotations from suppliers
- Liaising with supplier and chasing up outstanding orders
- Management of long lead time items (forgings and castings)
- Changing, updating and creating part data, production routes and Bill of Materials
Profile
Essentials skills as follows:
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Purchasing background or Supply Chain - Preferable within General Manufacturing
- Background in inventory control and/or production scheduling
Job Offer
My client will look at candidates who range from GBP23,000 to GBP28,000.
