My client is looking for a Factory Operative to come and join their team at their site in Highbridge, you will be working as part of the established production team.
This role is varied and will include working on a production line completing manual tasks such as finishing off products with correct packaging and labels so they are ready for distribution as well as weighing and mixing ingredients in large containers following recipes therefore the ability to read and understand English is essential to ensure accuracy.
You will also be expected to help keep the stock tidy and to stack pallets for distribution and to ensure they are stored correctly within the warehouse.
Reliability and the ability to work as a team are vital for this role due to the small size of the team, every person is important to the running of the factory and to ensure timely and efficient production and dispatch of orders.
The hours for this role are varied as there are two different shift patterns - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm or Monday - Friday 11.00am - 7.00pm.
The hourly rate for this role is GBP7.50 however this will increase after 12 week. The location is walking distance from the train station, there is also parking on site.
This is a long term position which could lead to a permanent job for the right candidate.
