Electrical Engineer/Electrician - Woking

I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer/Electrician to work on behalf of a multinational facilities management company.

The position would involve working on site at HMP Send to maintain prison building and equipment including security items in a safe manner.

Duties:

- Undertake electrical installations, inspection testing, commissioning and repairs to equipment
- Ensure allocated, planned maintenance and small repairs are carried out
- Undertake survey inspections including in confined spaces and at height recording all work and completing associated registers/logs
- Act as a technical specialist advising on regulations when required
- Carry out project work including refurbishment of areas within the estate
- Escort and supervise technical contractors

Experience Required:

- Emergency lighting
- Power distribution
- Heating & ventilation
- Fire Alarms
- Air handling units, fan coil units
- Motors including variable speed drives, direct online and star-delta starters

The Suitable Candidate:

- Must hold a vocational qualification at Level 2 as an electrician or equivalent
- Will have 17th Edition
- Will have previous experience working in a similar working environment or facilities management role would be advantageous

Working Hours:

37.5 hours - Monday - Friday

Salary:

GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 (depending on experience)
