Job Outline:
I am now recruiting for a market leading expert in highly efficient and innovative air moving technology. Thanks to consistent growth, an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Embedded Engineer has arisen.
Reporting to the head of engineering, the successful candidate will focus on the development of hardware and firmware to drive electromechanical products. Working within a multi-skilled environment, you will be responsible for designing analogue and digital circuits. There will be a particular focus on the design and development of Switch Mode Power Supplies, so hands-on experience with power electronics is essential.
You will conduct design to EMC and LVD standards and validate your designs through calculations, simulation and testing. You will also be responsible for further developing the firmware and electronics of existing products, through design reviews, testing and debugging.
The role presents an excellent opportunity for candidates with a couple of years of industry experience, whom are looking to take on more responsibilities and further develop their skill set.
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will hold a 2:1 Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Engineering or another relevant subject.
Understanding of the principles of field oriented control would also be highly advantageous.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
