Truck Parts Salesperson

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Truck Parts Salesperson to join Imexpart Ltd based in Castleford.

Imexpart Ltd, one of the largest and most respected independent Truck & Bus Parts Specialists in the UK are seeking a Senior Parts Sales Interpreter (All – Makes) to join their expanding team in Castleford, West Yorkshire.  Having served the automotive industry since 1986, Imex is a leading independent parts distributor, offering a genuine alternative to the franchised network.

As a Truck Parts Salesperson your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Have a number of years experience within a CV Motor Factor environment
• Provide a first class customer service by responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Possess excellent knowledge of manufacturer EPC’s and in particular: Mercedes, DAF, Volvo, Scania and Renault
• Have good commercial aptitude to close the sale and maximise margins

An ideal Truck Parts Salesperson will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Excellent Parts Interpretation skills – all trucks!
• A great communicator
• A Customer Service champion
• You will have worked within an All-Makes CV parts environment for at least 2 years
• Knowledge of the CV parts aftermarket
• Familiarity with Commercial Vehicle EPC’s
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent IT skills
• High levels of literacy and numeracy
• A team player
• Embracing of change and willing to learn new skills
