Our client is a world market leader in the development and manufacture of advanced special purpose machine tool systems. The utilise processes such as laser, EDM, Grinding and Milling.
The role they are recruiting for at present is for a experienced Maintenance Engineer. This will involve working at their Shepshed site, focusing on the reactive, preventative and planned maintenance within a fast paced Aerospace Manufacturing environment. The role is heavily electrically biased and will require someone to have experience of PC based CNC equipment, drive systems, EDM and/or machine tools. You must be able to work under pressure and be able to perform complex fault finding within electronic control systems.
An OND/HNC or equivalent experience in electrical, electronics, mechanics or alternative is also required.
The shifts are on a 2 shift rotation (Mornings 6am - 2pm / Afternoons 2pm - 10pm) after a 3/6 month induction period consisting of day shifts Monday to Friday. A 1 in 4 weekend call out rota is in operation. A call out allowance and standby payments are included. Overtime is also available after 37 hours at standard rate.
