Our Client, one of the largest advice networks in the UK financial services market, is currently seeking a Protection Advisor to join their team on a full-time basis. The role would involve offering suitable and affordable protection advice over the telephone to new and existing customers.
The ideal candidate will be bright, outgoing and self-motivated. They will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Furthermore, they will possess a drive and enthusiasm for generating interest in protection offerings. All leads are supplied via an internal contact centre and full, back office support will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring maximum availability to receive leads
- Recommending suitable protection solutions to clients' needs
- Developing strong working relationships with lead generators to maximise the effectiveness of the lead to live process
- Outbound calling to follow up and convert existing pipeline leads
- Ensuring all recommendations adhere to regulatory framework
- Meeting agreed performance and quality KPIs
Skills and experience
- CF1 or equivalent qualification essential
- Clear communication skills
- A highly professional telephone manner is a must
- Proven success in a telephone sales based environment
- Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines in a fast paced and target driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
- Computer Literate
- Punctual and reliable
- Excellent customer service skills
