We are looking for an experienced Janitor to clean and maintain all areas in Patchway Police Centre in Bristol.
You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas, performing specialist cleaning tasks including (but not exclusively):
- scrubber/dryer operation
- spot carpet cleaning
- deep cleaning of cells, toilets and kitchens and replenishment of consumables
- emptying of and recycling of confidential waste containers
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You must be able to work addiitional and sometimes unsociable hours if and when required. You must also be available for an almost immediate start.
Ideally you will be BIC's trained, and have knowledge of COSHH.
Any person wishing to apply will need to complete a 'Non-Police Personnel Vetting' procedure in which you will have your financial background checked and also any criminal activity. It is a more thorough check than a DBS and the decision of this vetting is solely at the discretion of the police force
