Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner

Our client is a family of London nurseries and pre-schools, founded on over 25 years’ experience in caring for babies and children. Our client prides themselves on their simple philosophy of ensuring children are nurtured, cared for and inspired; so that you can happily get on with your day.

Due to our client’s overwhelming successes, they are now looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to take on the role of a Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner at their location in Brentford

The Role:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning.
• Updating parents and carers on children's progress.
• Working with colleagues to meet children's needs.
• Checking equipment is in good condition.
• Keeping records.
• Writing observations.
• Working within environmental, health and safety and fire regulations.
• Keeping up to date with developments in early years care.
• Building relationships with parents, carers, schools and childcare professionals.
• Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs the children registered at the Nursery.

Requirements:

• You will need at least _ years experience working in a nursery.
• Be level 2 qualified and working towards level 3 or already level 3 qualified.
• Have Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above.
• Be self-motivated.

Salary: £15,000 - £18,000

As you will be working with children this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of offenders act and you must therefore declare all convictions even if they are spent. You will also be required to complete an enhanced DBS.
