Interim Sourcing Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Sanderson Recruitment is working on behalf of a dynamic and reputable financial services provider to identify an experienced Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for implementing and managing the sourcing strategy across the business. You will lead the sourcing team and drive key strategic projects.

The role requires the ability to think and plan strategically, shape projects and deliver to agreed timelines. Individuals must have a communication style and gravitas that allows them to coach, influence and integrate at a senior level through strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership for the day to day activity and strategic direction of the Sourcing function
• Provide leadership to the wider sourcing team.
• Proactively build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide relevant market expertise for a range of sourcing activity within the business.
• Develop and implement cost saving projects & initiatives

Skills & Experience:

• Senior leadership experience within a complex sourcing/procurement structure.
• Extensive sourcing and or procurement experience.
• Strong exposure of complex regulated financial services environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence at senior level.
• Ability to lead and support projects.
• Excellent commercial acumen and strategic focus.
