Service Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: GBP52,500 - GBP57,500 + Car + Benefits

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and operationally focused Service Manager to join our market-leading client, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.

As the Service Manager you will ensure all installation and maintenance contracts for smart Electronic devices used in the transportation sector are managed to the contract specification and that the financial expectations of the contract are exceeded. You will be responsible for controlling projects and contracts to ensure the best interests of the Company are maintained.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required as regular customer meetings will be held to monitor and manage the progress on contracts as well as ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained. The role will also incorporate identifying opportunities for growth and communicating these internally.

Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring all contractual KPI's are met or exceeded. Also ensuring that QHSE regulations and procedures are followed at all times.

Although predominantly based in the Birmingham (Midlands) area, there may be a requirement from time to time to work in other Service Centre's which may involve overnight stays.

In order to fulfill the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

Role Requirements:

- GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent at grade C or above
- Solid experience of running a busy traffic signal installation and maintenance business
- Thorough understanding and experience of financial/commercial management
- Experience of ensuring timely delivery of high profile contracts to a Local Authority clients and main contractors in a busy work environment including experience of working with NEC3 contracts
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Experience of managing teams of Field Staff.
- IT literacy with competency in Microsoft Office software
- Full driving license
