We are now recruiting for a Freight Account Manager to be based at a customer site in Loughborough for 2-3 days a week and home based for the remainder of the week.
This is a standalone position although the first few months you will be working to transition work and knowledge from the existing team who will be leaving the organisation by early August.
Your role will involve handling a sea and air freights service and will involve high interaction with both suppliers, clients and internal management. You will have the ability to take end to end responsibility and to act as a single point of contact for this client.
You will manage the entire shipment process, prepare and handle commercial documentation and shipping Inco terms
In order to apply for this role you will
Knowledge of commercial docs and shipping Inco terms
Ideally some heavy haulage experience
Good communication skills - used to high level interaction with both suppliers, clients and internal management
Strong understanding of logistics processes and documenting SOP's
Ability to take end to end responsibility and act as single point of contact for our client
