We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst (HR & Finance Systems), based in our Swindon offices.

Innovate UK's Programme Management Office (PMO) supports the delivery of Business Improvement and Change portfolio of projects and programmes. This role will provide interim business analysis skills to support the analysis and development of user requirements in preparation for replacing or upgrading Innovate UK's finance system, working closely with Programme and Project managers, users and stakeholders across the organisation.

The Finance Business Analyst will support Innovate UK's finance systems project. This candidate will have extensive experience of HR & Finance systems analysis and development. They will work closely with internal product owners to confirm and prioritise the user requirements, and work with the Project/Programme Managers to develop a user requirement in preparation for procurement and implementation phases.

This Business Analyst will bring experience of working with suppliers ensuring our business requirements are visible and understood. Development of Requests for Tender or other procurement documentation is desirable, as is knowledge and understanding of public sector accounting and procedures.

The role will be principally office based with close liaison with functions across the entire organisation.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:

* Provide a point of contact for interaction with project and programme managers, business users and stakeholders.
* Interaction with suppliers of existing and potential solutions will also be required.
* Provide strong business analysis skills and experience in modelling business processes with exceptional documentation skills.
* Conduct workshops and training sessions and provide sound industry knowledge.
* Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, and work with the Product Owners to prioritize deliverables, and negotiate on products.
* Create detailed Business Requirement Documentation and translate it into detailed use cases.
* Participate in integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functionality testing.
* Ad hoc project work as directed by senior management
