Due to continued growth, my client based in Surrey is currently seeking a Test Technician to join their market leading manufacturing company.
My client is in a niche market sector and operates worldwide with their main manufacturing facility based in Camberley, Surrey, UK.
The role:
This position will work under the direction of the Production Manager and will involve inspection, testing, calibration and correcting various individual products, manufactured by the company.
You will be testing new products as instructed and using relevant documentation and procedures provided.
You will provide customer training of the equipment.
You will complete documentation and test schedules and reports and ensure you are working to the companies H&S and quality procedures and standards.
Requirements:
• Any previous experience instrument testing
• Previous experience with electronic testing and calibration
• Able to use a variety of test and measurement equipment
• Able to complete a variety of test procedures and suggest improvements to test processes
• Able to fault find electromechanical products
• Check all work meets quality and technical standards
Desirables
• Relevant qualification within a mechanical and/or electrical discipline
• Previous experience testing gas analysers, systems or accessories
Package and hours
The salary for this role is negotiable however can be paying up to around GBP30,000 per annum, depending on experience and skill set.
This position is a standard day shift, Monday to Friday.
