Field Service Engineer

Tchibo Coffee International has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Coffee Machines to join our team, attending customer sites and servicing our plumbed-in modern coffee machines, mostly bean-to-cup and some traditional machines. You will be supporting our customers based primarily in Central London (The City) and South-East London (postcodes E, EC and SE). Basic salary up to £28,000 pa depending on experience plus one weekend in four stand-by payment with overtime at enhanced rates plus potential bonus.

The Field Service Engineer – Coffee Machines Role

The key responsibility of this position is the installation, maintenance, and repair of our coffee machine equipment. It will also involve preventative maintenance and boiler inspections. All relevant training will be provided.

To carry out the Field Service Engineer – Coffee Machines role, you will be responsible for

- Prepare your daily allocated jobs, liaising with the Service Coordinator

- Carry out repairs according to manufacturer’s specification

- Company vehicle maintenance and cleanliness

- Parts management and stock takes

- Adhering to the customer rules of attendance

- Working to Health and Safety regulations

Skills and experience required by the Field Service Engineer– Coffee Machines

- Coffee/beverage machine experience

- Three phase installation

- Electrical or electronic qualification

- A flexible approach to working hours

- A full driving licence is essential

Ideally you will have field-based coffee machine experience although we will consider a background in other similar vending machines.

A good geographical knowledge of Central, East and South-East London is beneficial, and hopefully you also enjoy a cup of coffee!

Salary is up to £28,000 plus overtime opportunities and potential company bonus.
