Systems Administrator

This leading Connectivity, Cloud, Data Centre and Voice operator provide their customers with access to one of the most diverse and resilient networks in the UK. Their business is continuously growing and they are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their Technical team.

They are looking for a Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the management of key operational service systems on a daily basis for maximum availability and performance. The successful candidate will take on day-to-day engineering/administration duties including both pro-active and re-active support. You will work closely with other technical teams to ensure reliability and availability of products and services. A proven track record in a similar role is essential.

Skills:
- Strong experience in both Linux & Windows administration.
- Experience in one or more Virtualisation technologies (VMWare, Citrix & KVM).
- Strong scripting skills.
- Full automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a highly-motivated self-starter.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and can deliver high-quality work with little supervision.
- Taking part in the on-call rota.
