A market leading aerospace company are looking for a systems integration engineer to join their team in Crawley (West Sussex). The successful candidate will help lead exciting new projects and have a major influence on the team moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Agree Engineering deliverables and milestones with internal/ external suppliers.
- Define/ manage an integration and test plan.
- Define/ maintain a resource plan ensuring the quality of final deliverables.
- Certification and acceptance activities with regulatory authorities.
- Produce a weekly engineering management report, and present status at programme reviews as required.
- Work with and support the Programme Manager for all programme engineering aspects.
Person Specification
- A suitable degree in a relevant discipline.
- Technical knowledge within the simulation industry.
- Knowledge of systems engineering, development lifecycles, testing and verification and validation.
- Demonstrated a high degree of technicial expertise, problem solving skills, and innovation for areas of high complexity novel developments.
- Understanding of real time software programming and integration
- Subject matter expert in an aircraft product line.
