A dynamic, rapidly growing Managed IT Service provider based in Weybridge, Surrey now 10 years in Business is recruiting a talented and committed 2nd / 3rd line Support Engineer (Windows, AD, Exchange, Hyper-V, Networking) to undertake a key role as the Lead IT Engineer, helping support a tight knit team of IT professionals to service existing and new clients with cutting edge solutions and expert oversight of their infrastructure.

This company provides professional IT support, consultancy and strategy, working with small to medium sized organisations - they have built a reputation with their clients as a team experts who can handle any requirement and their approach is 'can do'. They plan, execute, monitor and maintain, always evolving to provide the best advice and implement the best systems available.

The Role: You will be supporting the internal team as well as existing and new clients with remote support, onsite support, solution design, implementations and troubleshooting at the highest level. You will be working to tight SLA's so time is of the essence - it's not just about fixing problems but designing and implementing solutions and systems and team education to get future jobs completed in a more streamlined manner.

You will have excellent client facing skills and the ability to resolve challenging issues in a high pressure environment where quick solutions are of paramount importance to our clients.

Background Experience: You will be a confident and experienced engineer who has had plenty of exposure to many different technologies. Acted as a team / project leader and a capable independent worker with a flair for problem solving.

Technical competencies required:

- Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2, Windows 7 / 8 / 10
- Active Directory / Migration / Troubleshooting
- MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016 / 365
- Group Policy configuration and deployment
- Microsoft SQL server / Sharepoint / RDS
- Email security products, e.g. Mimecast / MessageLabs
- Hyper-V / Veeam / Synology / HP Server / HP MSA / ISCSI / RAID.
- TCP/IP Networking knowledge covering LAN/ vLAN/ WAN / Routing / DNS / DHCP / VPN technologies

Salary & Package: The salary on offer starts from £30K and is negotiable to £50K depending on the applicant's skills and experience. Benefits including access to a company vehicle, annual bonus and pay reviews. They can be flexible and actively promote a healthy work/life balance. This role would be ideal for someone local who doesn't wish to commute to or work in London every day.

The role offers tremendous scope for development with the growth of the business - for example, into a senior role managing all Technical Services.
