We are currently working on behalf of a Distribution business to recruit an experienced Project Manager for their strategic Southern Branch. The business is well established in the UK with regional offices servicing the North, South and Midlands locations.
The company currently has a portfolio of blue chip and SME accounts across a range of services including waste collection, facilities management and specialist technical project. The position will sit within the Special Projects division and will be responsible for managing and developing a dedicated Special Projects team; in addition, the role will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and working closely with the commercial division to promote and secure new business opportunities, whilst managing health & safety, risk assessment, personnel, systems and processes and general management and reporting within the Special Projects Division
To apply for this role, you should have previous experience in a Project Management, ideally gained with Transport, Distribution, Recycling, Waste or Facilities Management, although other sectors will also be considered. You should have experience at supervisory or management level and have the ability to collate, analyse and interpret financial and market sector information. You should be able to utilise this across technical operations, customer service and sales to ensure Projects are delivered on time and within agreed budget parameters.
