An excellent opportunity has now arisen for Lift Engineer to join us in Manchester.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and minor repairs.  You will also respond to reactive call outs to passenger, goods and domestic lift installations in Public Buildings, commercial premises and private properties in accordance with the relevant safety regulations and departmental procedures.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or hold a minimum of NVQ level 3 or its equivalent i.e. relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate.

With extensive experience working within the lift engineering industry, the successful candidate will have worked on Passenger / goods and domestic lifting equipment and possess sound and methodical fault finding skills. You should be confident working with minimum of supervision and as part of a team. You should also be willing to participate in an out of hours emergency cover roster as and when required.
