RECEPTIONIST - Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Receptionist to join our team in High Wycombe and we are looking for enthusiastic, down to earth individual to lead the way in welcoming our clients and their animals, into our surgery.   

Located on Amersham Road (staff parking available), our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.  Our Partner and Vet, Gareth, leads a team of 3 Vets, 1 Nurse, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants and 3 Receptionists; all of the team are united in their passion for providing world class clinical care for all of our patients.  

The successful candidate will meet and greet clients, book appointments, deal with any queries, take payments and communicate confidently with customers. 

Person Specification

Gareth is looking for a confident and engaging individual with good communication skills;   someone who is organized, works well under pressure and happy to use their own initiative.  You will be a strong team player and take pride in your work and the service you deliver.  Previous experience in a Reception role and/or animal based environment is advantageous.  There is an opportunity to take on more administrative duties, therefore this role would suit someone who is willing to learn and develop their own skills.  

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Saturday (morning) working is included on a 1:3 rotation.
