JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 dependent on skills and experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm

THE COMPANY: Our client is a British manufacturer of Fluid Management devices, which include the CardioQ-ODM and CardioQ-ODM+ whose clients include the NHS as well as a range of other medical and health bodies around the world. Both manufacturing and Head Office are based in Chichester, West Sussex with subsidiaries in the USA, Canada and Spain.

A new fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a driven and experienced Marketing Assistant to join our clients head office team in Chichester, West Sussex.

THE ROLE: As a Marketing Assistant you will be based at our clients head office and will report to the Managing Director and will be supported by an in house team including a Graphic Designer where you will be responsible to contribute to the delivery of the company's marketing program and organisation of events through a range of ways including web and online marketing strategies such as social media and email marketing, creation of product literature, as well as organising and attending exhibitions. You will update existing marketing strategies and ensure that company and product awareness is maximised for potential new business.

For the right candidate this could lead to a very exciting opportunity where you will eventually be encouraged to come up with ideas and ways to further increase our clients product awareness.

Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Assistant role in Chichester, West Sussex :

Create new, update and manage existing, marketing materials
Update and circulate product information and literature
Look at ways through Social Media, Google AdWords and our clients website marketing to maximise its potential
Identify ways to increase website awareness as well as search traffic and general interaction
Engage with existing and new customers through social media, images, videos, texts and a range of other eye catching ways
Organise marketing programs and attend exhibitions
Liaise and work with other in house teams and colleagues on marketing information and materials

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Marketing Assistant's position must have a real passion and desire for creativity and marketing. You should have experience in Social Media, Email and other online marketing methods and be someone who is not afraid to think outside the box. It is essential you have the experience and a proven track record in Marketing (specifically online) and should have a Marketing qualification or diploma. Although not essential as training will be given as will product information, any candidates with experience within the medical equipment industry would be highly desirable. You must be a positive and enthusiastic person who can work well with others to achieve a common goal and must live within or be able to commute to Chichester.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Marketing Assistant's role in Chichester, West Sussex :-

Previous experience in marketing essential
Must have a recognised Marketing diploma or qualification
Must have experience and be able to take ownership of Social Media, Email and other online marketing
Must live within or be able to commute to Chichester
