The Finance Data Office Analyst will assist the Senior Finance Office Manager in discharging the duties of the Finance Data Office.
The role holder will be expected to undertake the following responsibilities and duties:
- To aid the Senior Finance Office Manager in maintaining the effective operation of the Finance Data Governance and Oversight Framework
- To produce, collate, and coordinate the MI to support the Data Category Working Group and Finance Data Governance Forum meetings
- To attend and support the Data Category Working Groups as required
- To provide a central point of support and assistance with the data issues and queries, including working with the project teams where necessary
- To support the management and continuous improvement of the Finance Data Office infrastructure including maintenance of the finance data inventory, liaison with Data Category Working Groups and review of control evidence.
To ensure your success in this role you will have experience of;
- Understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
- Experience of disseminating complex quality information to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring it is understood.
- Experience of dealing with complexity on large scale systems implementations and on-going enhancements
- Experience of communicating financial information to stakeholders across Prudential to support planning and decision making
- Working knowledge of Life and pensions products, markets and competitors
- Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
- Understanding of the Statements of Principle and Code of Practise
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles - essential
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with all levels of the organisation
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Able to work without close supervision and deliver to tight deadlines - essential
