Helpdesk Analyst
37 Hours per week
£16,342 per annum
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated helpdesk analyst to be a member of our Computer Services Team in a customer facing role. As a successful candidate you will effectively support the team in maintaining their excellent provision of IT technical assistance to the college.
Some key roles include:
- To provide an excellent, customer focused service to users of the Computer Services Support desk.
- Provide first line support to all users, resolving 1st line IT based issues in-line with industry standard rates.
- Determine problem severity, escalate jobs when necessary and provide the necessary alerts to the IT management team.
You will need to have experience of working in a highly demanding IT related environment with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft products; you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as having a firm understanding of computer systems.
Holding a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English will be an essential requirement for this role, or the commitment to gaining within 24 months.
