IT / AV Technician

37 Hours per week

£17,699.33 - £19,650.66 per annum

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 IT / AV Technician to be a member of our Computer Services Team in a customer facing role, as a successful candidate you will effectively support the team in maintaining their excellent provision of IT technical assistance to the college.

Key roles include:

  • Take Responsibility for, log, priorities, and manage work tickets to ensure the teams Service level agreements are maintained.
  • Install, Configure and maintain IT equipment and related peripherals throughout the college.
  • Installation, provision and management of audio visual related equipment such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, microphones, cameras etc.

You will need to have experience of working in a highly demanding IT related environment with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft products; you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as having a firm understanding of computer systems.

It is essential that you hold MCITP or equivalent qualification (or the commitment to gain in 12 months) and experience. Ideally, you will have experience of working with Windows Server in an Active Directory environment.

Holding a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Maths and English will be an essential requirement for this role. (Or the commitment to gaining within 24 months).
