Full Stack Developer - AngularJS/C#
Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, implement and support a number of critical public facing web based applications.
Working on a project within a Transformation Programme, you will be instrumental in supporting our aspirations to become a better regulator and improving choice and value for their consumers.
They have had a number of established external website applications on Legacy technologies that need to be modernised and redeveloped. These applications account for around 40% of their total website traffic providing the industry and the general public with vital information.
As the Full Stack Developer you will be reporting to a development team manager in a small development team in the Transformation Programme department. The team will be responsible for the portfolio of work; taking the applications through a full development life cycle from analysis through development to implementation and support.
They are looking for an experienced, confident and multi-skilled Full Stack Developer to join the them and help them deliver the change and benefits that they aspire to.
Full Stack Developer - Technical Skills:
You should be experienced in both Front End and Back End development with a flair for producing high quality customer facing web solutions. You will need to demonstrate your ability to develop responsive solutions using CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and Bootstrap. You will be skilled at debugging JavaScript and be familiar with packaging and task running software such as Bower and Grunt. You will ideally have knowledge of AngularJS and LESS.
You will be involved in all aspects of application development so knowledge of Visual Studio, C# and ASP.NET MVC is required for this role but the primary area of expertise will be Front End development.
Experience of designing solutions to leverage cloud infrastructure would be of benefit. Experience of developing on the Umbraco platform is desirable but training will be provided if necessary.

You will bring an enthusiasm for creative web development making best use of available technologies to meet business requirements. You will also be able to apply the necessary rigour to your development and test activities to ensure that subsequent issues with delivered solutions are kept to a minimum. You will need to be comfortable and confident liaising and working with business stakeholders as well as your IT peers.
