As the successful applicant for this role you will be a passionate and creative Science Teacher with a dynamic approach to teaching and learning. You will be joining a large and cohesive team of educators, with a collaborative ethos and strong team spirit. The results in Science generally have been excellent throughout the last 2-3 years, and as a new member of the team your input into the continuing success of the department will be required immediately through sharing of resources and Good Practice. You will be expected to teach Science at KS3 level, and take a lead with GCSE teaching and preparation for your specialist Science discipline.
The school is set in a pleasant location in Leicester, with a modern, spacious campus, with recently enlarged and modernized teaching areas. Each Science teacher has their own teaching room and also shared use of the Science prep rooms. The school is led by a very proactive and dynamic Headteacher and SLT, and there is a strongly shared vision and ethos to drive the school on to greater levels of expectation.
