Smiths News, the name in distribution of newspapers, magazines and parcels, forms part of Connect Group Plc who connect suppliers to customers in an efficient, knowledgeable and service-oriented way.

In April 2017, Smiths News opened a new 66,500 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Punchbowl Park, Hemel Hempstead. This will become the largest centre in the our business, with leading edge features such as a separate newspaper and magazine returns conveyer system and the ability to accommodate up to 20 transhipment vehicles in its 50m deep yard.

We are a fast paced, 24/7 business and manage our operations in three shifts - days, nights and twilight. We offer employees a friendly and supportive working environment, with genuine development opportunities such as fully funded NVQs up to Level 3.
