eCommerce Operations Assistant Role

We have an exciting, new opportunity available for an eCommerce Operations Assistant to join us at our Head Office in Maidenhead. This role has been created to provide support to the Assistant Operations Manager and assist with planning the strategy and targets to drive B2B sales. You will also be responsible for reconciling payment for business orders, providing Customer Service support to our Call Centre and resolving stock availability queries.

eCommerce Operations Assistant main responsibilities will include:

    • Helping to plan the strategy & targets for corporate gift voucher and product sales
    • Opening new accounts, handling enquiries & placing orders
    • Liaising with Toys R Us stores to fulfil orders
    • Developing a relationship with internal accounts departments
    • Reconciling payment for business orders
    • Proposing improvements to the online business accounts system
    • Planning & managing communication with the business account contacts database
    • Providing monthly management reporting
    • Resolving stock availability and escalated customer service enquiries from 3rd party contact centre
    • Managing Spare part requests from contact centre and monitoring supplier performance
    • Liaising with departments across the business to resolve issues, particularly Quality Assurance, Customer Services, Buyers
    • Completing any reasonable adhoc task as required.

The ideal eCommerce Operations Assistant:

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be self motivated and be able to effectively manage your workload, whilst providing a high level of service both internally and externally. Strong administrative skills and a sound working knowledge of MS Office are essential.
