Digital Designer required for this well-known retailer who have an extensive network of stores and a huge online platform.
SALARY: GBP30,000
LOCATION: Shoreditch London
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: London
JOB SPECIFICATION - Digital Designer
Working in the design studio reporting into the studio supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for creating assets for web use within campaign and brand guidelines.
The primary focus of the role will be all about the organisations online offering including the following:
* Being responsible for online campaign / product layout and maintenance of the site
* Email and digital marketing
* Semantic tagging of HTML5
* Producing creative content and user friendly online layouts
* Producing landing pages using boilerplate CSS and HTML
From time to time you may also get involved in some print design services covering monthly promo material, POS, leaflets, signage etc.
REQUIREMENTS - Digital Designer
In order to be successful for this role you will have the following knowledge, skill set and experience:
* Superb English both written and verbal
* A full working knowledge of Adobe creative suite and HTML and CSS3
* The ability to hand code in HTML and CSS
* JavaScript/JQuery knowledge is highly advantageous
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience working within a retail head office`s design team is highly sought after
THE COMPANY - Digital Designer
A retailer who have in excess of 200 stores across the UK and Ireland and have been established over 35 years.
