Our client is a leading British designer and manufacturer of intelligent lighting solutions with a respected reputation worldwide. They are committed to UK manufacture with facilities based in Wales and Hampshire.
Due to their continued growth and expansion they are seeking an efficient Project Manager to join their IoT Solutions Team focussing on the delivery of intelligent lighting and IoT based projects.
Reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will co-ordinate and manage the delivery of intelligent lighting and IoT Solutions through the company’s flagship wireless lighting control technology.
Role and Key Responsibilities:
• Managing and co-ordinating IoT projects from Order In through to Install, Handover and Customer Support.
• Following outlined project process to ensure successful project delivery
• Updating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to keep the whole team up to date on all projects and their status
• Supporting Sales Team with project queries and technical specification of wireless system
• Liaising with Development Team to ensure smooth roll of software updates and new features to customer sites
• Attending customer sites across the UK during the installation of the wireless lighting system to ensure all goes smoothly and to commission the system
• Managing the internal team
Required Skills:
• Previous experience of managing electrical contractors and electrical projects ideally in lighting desirable
• Previous experience managing wireless, lighting or IoT based projects
• Experience of working with and organising sub-contractors (internal and external)
• Experience of working on site
• Understanding on wireless communications
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license.
Hours and Location:
40 Hours a week (usually Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends)
Role based out of the Romsey head office – travel throughout UK.
Salary: £25k to £40k - negotiable depending on experience
