We have a new opening to recruit a Receptionist to join the Carter Jonas office in Oxford.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be the main point of contact for all “front of house” activities. Responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors to the office as well as answering all calls through the switchboard. You will be responsible for:

· Operating the reception switchboard in a warm, confident and cheerful manner, and to redirect calls to most appropriate person efficiently.

· Greeting all incoming guests ensuring all visitors to Carter Jonas have a pleasant experience.

· Ensuring the reception area is kept in a pristine condition at all times.

· Maintaining MS Outlook calendar for booking/organising seven conference rooms and making sure all are in good shape pre/post meetings.

· Liaising with the catering department on a daily basis to plan and confirm meeting room catering requirements.

· Providing office support in handling all mailing and courier packages, incoming and outgoing and making sure all delivery notes have been signed off & logged.

· Arranging DHL and other special posts/parcels.

· Supporting the Office Manager with event planning and deployment.

· Liaising with the Office Manager for set up of all VC/ IT equipment including any other resource requirements.

· Daily meeting room equipment checks.

· Assisting with supplies control such as stationary and refreshments.

· Continually monitor reception inbox to ensure emails are responded to in a timely manner.

· Photocopies, faxing, and scanning tasks.

The ideal Receptionist:

Stepping into this position, you will have had proven experience working within a Customer Service based position and also excellent administration and organisational skills.
