Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a leading British designer and manufacturer of intelligent lighting solutions with a respected reputation worldwide. They are committed to UK manufacture with facilities based in Wales and Hampshire.

Due to their continued growth and expansion they are seeking  efficient Commissioning Engineers to join their IoT Solutions Team focussing on the delivery of intelligent lighting and IoT based projects.

Reporting to the Customer Project Manager  the successful applicant will co-ordinate and manage the delivery of intelligent lighting and IoT Solutions through the company’s flagship wireless lighting control technology.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Attending customer sites across the UK during the installation of the wireless lighting system to ensure all goes smoothly and to commission the system

Required Skills:
 
• Good Electrical knowledge and wiring skills essential.
• Good diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Methodical Deployment, documentation and Testing skills essential.
• Ability to work on site and under time pressures.
• IT skills essential.
• Knowledge of installation of wireless equipment such as Access Points or Wifi Routers is advantageous.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving license.

Hours and Location:

40 Hours a week (usually Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends)
Role based out of the Romsey head office – travel throughout UK. £20k upwards and negotiable depending on experience

Salary: £20k upwards,negotiable D.O.E
