EY's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice helps businesses drive competitive advantage by proactively managing their capital agenda, which determines how they strategically raise, invest, preserve and optimize their capital. We work with a wide range of clients to help them make better and more informed decisions about how they strategically manage capital and transactions in an increasingly disrupted marketplace. The rapid advancement in technology is one of the key forces that is driving this disruption - impacting both our clients as well as our own business. To respond to this technology disruption, the TAS practice has embarked on a journey of change to exploit the opportunities from technology and fundamentally evolve how we serve our clients - from the use of artificial intelligence to identify insights in data, robotic processes to automate routine tasks and natural language generation to automate report writing. As part of this journey, we recently engaged our 1200 TAS practitioners in UK & Ireland in a process that has identified a number of innovation initiatives. We now have open roles to drive these initiatives from their initial ideas through to proof-of-concepts and pilots, and ultimately leading to the scaling and integration of technology based products into the core business. These tasks will involve working closely with and managing multiple stakeholders - from internal innovation ideas teams to external technology vendors. A combination of strong communication, project management, product development and technology understanding will be key to this role. Although the TAS team is largely London-based, we operate as a national team and a number of our innovation ideas come from the regions. This role may therefore require some travel within the UK. Responsibilities Lead the ideation, technical development and launch of innovative products Drive product development with internal teams and external vendors Engage with multiple TAS stakeholders to build the specification of new technologies driving innovative work practices with our business Manage external technology vendors and internal developers to stand up 'proof-of-concepts' for these technologies and demonstrate their value to the business, following an agile methodology of refining or pivoting on initial ideas Build on successful proof-of-concepts to develop and manage 'live' pilots which will see the integration of these technologies in our practice Scale successful pilots into the mainstream operations of our business, integrating functionality as part of the fabric of our operating model Requirements Senior Product Management experience including delivery of entire technology based products from start to finish Project management experience with a track record of successful delivery covering planning (operational and financial), analysis, design, test, deployment and operation of new products Experience of vendor management and outsourcing Ability to successfully interact with senior stakeholders Experience in the use of agile development methodologies Experience in the following would be highly advantageous Experience of working in a professional services environment, including exposure to high profile transactions Please note we also welcome applications from Director level candidates. EY is committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We strive to achieve the right balance for our people, enabling us to deliver excellent client service whilst allowing you to build your career without sacrificing your personal priorities. While our client-facing professionals can be required to travel regularly, and at times be based at client sites, our flexible working arrangements can help you to achieve a lifestyle balance.
