Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a driven and ambitious Purchase Ledger Clerk who wishes to forge a long-standing career with a recognizable organisation based in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire.
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable and Credit Control Manager the ideal individual will have prior Purchase Ledger experience and has excellent accuracy in their work while dealing with c1000 invoices on a monthly basis.
Duties of the role are to include:
*Logging Purchase Ledger invoices
*Processing Purchase Ledger invoices in line with company authorities
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Maintaining and updating supplier details
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
*Contra-ing items with the Sales Ledger
*Processing employee expenses
*Chasing internal stakeholders for invoices and resolving queries, challenging where necessary
*Setting up payments to suppliers
*Project involvement where projects impact on Purchase Ledger
*Ensuring all processes are documented
*Supporting with other ad-hoc duties in Core Finance as required

*Prior Purchase Ledger experience is essential
*Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and workload
*Proactive attitude to work - pre-empt and anticipate forthcoming situations
*Have strong communication skills with the ability to deal with colleagues and clients at varying levels
*Professional when interacting with both our internal and external customers
*Team player with willingness to 'pitch in' and be flexible often at short notice
